Free price increase planner
A price change is not a retention forecast.
Compare the revenue math, expose the break-even visit count, and turn confirmed facts into a calm recurring-cleaning notice.
No client fields. No email gate. Nothing is submitted or stored.
Model the change without predicting retention.
Use one consistent visit count and currency. The result compares revenue only; it does not predict which clients stay or include changes in cost, capacity, tax, or profit.
Illustrative revenue math only. A visit cushion is not a safe number of clients to lose, a retention forecast, a profit calculation, or advice to raise a price.
Turn the confirmed facts into a calm notice.
Select a reason only when it is true and documented. This tool never asks for a client name, address, phone number, email, or service notes.
Review and edit before sending. Confirm the existing agreement, notice requirements, price, scope, effective date, recipient consent, channel rules, taxes, and local law. Do not send a statement that is not true.
03 / Review before sending
Separate the decision, the math, and the notice.
A price review starts with completed-job evidence, not a template. The calculator can expose the revenue relationship, but it cannot decide whether the service remains profitable or whether a client will accept the change.
- Compare estimated and actual labor by service type.
- Review direct costs, travel, overhead, and unpaid admin work.
- Confirm whether scope or visit frequency also changed.
- Read the existing agreement and local notice requirements.
- Send only reasons and dates that are accurate.
- Record replies and actual retention separately from the model.

Cleaning price increase FAQ
Does the visit cushion predict how many clients will stay?+
No. It is arithmetic: current monthly revenue divided by the proposed visit price, rounded up. It does not predict client decisions, replacements, costs, capacity, profit, referrals, or the effect of changing scope.
Should every client receive the same increase?+
Not automatically. Compare actual workload, direct cost, labor, travel, overhead, existing scope, visit frequency, and the agreement for each service. Use a consistent review process without inventing a market rate.
How much notice should I give?+
The tool does not prescribe a notice period. Check the agreement, billing cycle, consumer and contract rules, channel requirements, and local law. Choose an effective date only after those checks.
Why does the notice avoid a long justification?+
A notice should state the confirmed price, effective date, and a truthful reason when useful. Adding unsupported cost, wage, quality, or market claims creates more risk than clarity.
Does TidyMargin receive the prices or notice?+
No. The planner runs in the browser. It has no account or email gate and does not submit the entered price, date, selected reason, or generated copy.
Educational planning and writing tool only. It does not provide accounting, tax, legal, employment, contract, pricing, or communication advice and does not predict retention, profit, bookings, or revenue.
