PRIVACY NOTICE · UPDATED JULY 30, 2026

Privacy, in plain language

What TidyMargin receives, why it is used, which providers help operate the service, and the choices available to you.

1. Information TidyMargin may receive

TidyMargin may receive contact details and consent records when you voluntarily subscribe to an email walkthrough; support messages you send; purchase, receipt, delivery, and refund records; and business-level information you choose to provide in a setup-sprint application. Stripe or PayPal handles full payment credentials. TidyMargin does not receive or store complete card numbers.

The website also records limited server-side activity needed to operate and improve the service, including timestamps, requested TidyMargin surface, event type, allowlisted campaign labels, and whether a user agent appears automated. The first-party measurement record does not store an IP address, cookie identifier, email address, or raw user-agent string.

2. Optional scorecard walkthrough

The Remote Quote Scorecard remains available without entering an email address. If you separately request the scorecard walkthrough, EmailOctopus processes the address, form source, subscription and confirmation status, delivery events, engagement events, bounces, complaints, and unsubscribes needed to deliver and measure it.

The walkthrough uses confirmation by email before nurture messages begin. A scorecard download, purchase, support conversation, application, or social-media interaction does not enroll you. You may unsubscribe through the link in every walkthrough email at no cost.

3. How information is used

  • Deliver purchases and the optional email walkthrough you requested.
  • Respond to support, refund, and privacy requests.
  • Review and, when approved, configure a purchased setup sprint.
  • Secure, troubleshoot, measure, and improve the website and store.
  • Meet applicable accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, and legal obligations.

4. Service providers

Payhip operates the hosted storefront, application queue, checkout, receipts, and digital delivery. Stripe and PayPal process payments. Namecheap and cPanel services provide the public website, DNS, and support mailbox. EmailOctopus provides the voluntary subscription form, confirmation, email delivery, engagement reporting, and unsubscribe suppression. These providers may process information under their own privacy notices and terms.

5. Sharing and sale

TidyMargin does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with providers that operate the services described above, when legally required, to protect rights and security, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

6. Retention

Email consent and suppression records are retained as needed to respect subscription choices and demonstrate the state of consent. Support, purchase, refund, and application records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for service delivery, security, accounting, tax, dispute handling, and legal obligations. Setup-sprint source information should be removed when it is no longer needed for the agreed work, except for records that must be retained.

7. Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the walkthrough using the link in any walkthrough email. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to certain uses of, or receive a copy of personal information. Email support@tidymargin.com to make a request. Identity may need to be verified before a request is completed.

8. Sensitive information

Do not send payment credentials, door codes, passwords, government identifiers, health information, employee identifiers, or unnecessary client information through a form or support message.

9. Children and international processing

TidyMargin is intended for business users and is not directed to children. Providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, appropriate contractual or legal safeguards should be used.

10. Contact

Questions and privacy requests can be sent to support@tidymargin.com.
